The objective of the Department is to impart knowledge and skills considered essential for facing the challenges of the rapidly changing environment in the field of trade, industry and commerce. The curriculum of the B. Com. (Hons.) degree course is rigorous and progressive, and prepares its graduates for careers in commerce and accountancy as well as for other professional roles such as economic, business and security analysts.
On the successful completion of the M.Com. course, students will acquire strong subject-matter expertise in finance, financial instruments and markets. They will also develop advanced theoretical knowledge and research capabilities in their preparation for academic and research focused careers.
