Program Highlights

The students enters in Masters in Technology programme after completing 4-years undergraduate programme in engineering which results in awarding the B.Tech degree. M. Tech courses are equivalent to M.S Degrees and M.Phil degrees in science and humanity where as it treated to be lesser than Ph.D. level.

In first semester, students with backgrounds in life sciences and medicine are required to compulsory courses in mathematics, electronics circuits and instrumentation. Students with backgrounds in physical sciences and engineering take courses in physiology. All students are required to undergo a course on quantative and experimental methods in physiology.

In the second semester, all students have to go through a core course on Biostatistics and Design of Experiments. Students with backgrounds in physical sciences and engineering undergo a compulsory course in Clinical Physiology. The rest of the courses are electives which the students choose after consultation with the faculty advisor. In special cases electives can be taken from other departments in IIT as well. In addition all students start their M.Tech Project ( MTP ) and finish their first stage in the second semester itself.

In the third and final semester, the students are not required to take any courses and devote their time to the M.Tech Project.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Academic Qualifications For Masters in Technology (M.Tech)

• 50% in B.Tech/MCA/MSc.

Fee Structure

The fee structure of Masters in Technology (M.Tech) is 875 in USD while 35,000 in INR per semester.

Admission procedure

• Application forms and Prospectus can be obtained from the University Office on payment of Rs. 1000/-. All payments must be made by Demand Draft drawn in favor of 'Himgiri Zee University' and payable at 'Dehradun'.
• Incomplete application forms/registration forms, received after the due date will be summarily rejected without any intimation to the students.
• The students are advised to fill the relevant columns carefully and enclose the copies of all the required certificates duly attested.
• The application form should be submitted or sent to "Director, Admissions Himgiri ZEE University, P.O. Sherpur, chakrata road, Dehradun – 248 197 (Uttarakhand), India" on or before the due date.
• The University will not be responsible for any missed or misplaced letters for any postal delay.

Documents Required

The following documents should attached with application form:

• 1. Proof of passing minimum required qualification for the course (Marksheets).
• 2. Proof of entitlement for a particular reservation category (SC/ST/OBC Certificate).

The following document are required at the time of admission:

• 1. High School/Secondary School Certificate for age proof.
• 2. Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate,
• 3. Character Certificate.
• 4. Two passport size Photographs for Identify Card.
• 5. Proof of entitlement for a particular reservation category (SC/ST/OBC Certificate).
• 6. Medical Fitness Certificate.
• 7. Anti Ragging Affidavit by students & parent both on stamp paper of Rs. 10/- duly attested by the oath commissioner/notary (Formates – Annexure I & II).
