After completing Ph.D in Chemistry from Magadh University Bodh-Gaya, he worked as a Research Associate in Post-Doctoral Research Programme in Polymer Chemistry in a CSIR project and then DRDO project in the Department of Chemistry at Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.
His research work has been published in various national and international journals. He is a member of Indian Science Congress Association, Indian Society for Technical Education, Indian Council of Chemists and Fellow of Indian Chemical Society.
He has been awarded the Rashtriya Gaurav Award 2010, The Best Citizens of India 2010 and the Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award with Certificate of Excellence in 2010. He has been awarded first prize by the Competition Success Review(CSR) magazine in February 2014 for getting the first position in Essay Writing Competition. He is the author of three books named Chemistry for Engineers for Kurukshetra University, Chemistry For Engineers for M.D.University Rohtak and Chemistry for Engineers(Applied Chemistry). All these three books are published under the banner of University Science Press(An imprint of Laxmi Publications Pvt. Ltd.) New Delhi. He has served many institutions like M.L.S.M College Sunder Nagar (HP), Haryana College of Technology and Management, Kaithal(Haryana) etc.
