Radhika, Associate Professor, F/o Architecture and Design from "Uttarakhand State Science and Technology Congress (USSTC)" in 11th USSTC 2016-17 for the Oral presentation on title Rural technology . 11th USSTC 2016-17 was organized from 2nd to 4th March, 2017 in the premises of UCOST, Dehradun. Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology is engaged in numerous programmes to promote scientific talent and temper in the State. Uttarakhand State Science and Technology Congress (USSTC) is one of these programmes and is organized every year Her research topic was Bamboo as an alternative building material, need to change its under usage to over usage of houses and other buildings Brief of her research work: Whole some Design Proposal of rural house using Bamboo composites materials and Gabian wall as an alternative to the conventional houses. The design proposal were made after studying and understanding the old traditional houses in Jadi village, Chakrata which reflects the Koti banal Architecture style houses with the supporting team of 21 B. Arch students .
