Work Experience with field:

Dr. Meenakshi Harraw Verma is currently working as Professor and Associate Dean, School of Education and Humanities, Himgiri Zee University, Dehradun. With a background in corporate and academics, she has worked in the area of academic research, teaching and training. She has more than 22 publications in national and international esteemed peer reviewed journals and has participated and presented papers in 35+ national and international conferences and seminars in India and abroad. She has effectively worked in the area of Curriculum Design for UG, PG and PhD course work, student development and academic learning. She has a versatile approach to teaching and learning and valued for her innovative teaching techniques. She has vast experience of working on academic and administrative positions. She has membership of various professional societies and is an elected Member of the Management Committee of Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD), Dehradun Chapter. She has been a nominated member of the Regional Advisory Committee, Central Board for Workers' Education, a central government department.

Dr. Meenakshi has been associated with the State Engineers' Academy, Roorkee, Uttarakhand to conduct workshops and training sessions for in-service engineers from various departments of Uttarakhand Government. She has conducted workshops and training programs on Life Skills in schools, colleges and universities and have also organised Faculty Development Programmes on Classroom Management Skills, Innovative Teaching Techniques, Team Building, Decision Making, Conflict Resolution, Stress and Anxiety Management. She has been an invited guest speaker for various government departments such as Hyder, PWD, Irrigation and THDC alongwith NGOs and industry in UP and Uttarakhand to delivers lectures and conduct training workshops on multiple topics ranging from Communication Skills, Personality Development, Women Empowerment, Gender Sensitization etc. She has also conducted programs on Life Skills Training for the organised and unorganised sector labour residing in villages. In her academic career of 26 years, she has won accolades for her multi-tasking skill and result oriented approach.

4. A number of research papers, chapter & articles, have been published in different journals.
