The School of Vocational Studies is established as per the UGC guidelines and national policy in skill development that envisages skills for gainful employment and for useful services of the nation. Accordingly, the university has started vocational programs leading to the award of Degree called B.Voc in the area where potential of employment is large.
As per the guidelines of the UGC and depending upon the length of the programme attained by students, Certificate, Diploma, Advance Diploma and B.Voc Degree is awarded. B.Voc being the Vocational Degree, the emphasis is given on achieving skills at university and/or industry. Though, emphasis is given at learning outcome than input and processes, the curriculum are transacted suitably without compromising on quality.
B.Voc programme provides knowledge and skills for gaining appropriate employment and entrepreneurship in their vocational area.
